In the previous lesson, we implemented message body chunking, and we made some nebulous claims about its impact on memory usage. There’s one way you can clearly see the difference between strict and lazy data, though: Only lazy strings can be infinite. We’re going to take a quick lesson to focus on that fact and do an exercise to give you a little direct experience with it.
