In the previous lesson, we implemented message body chunking, and I made some nebulous claims about its impact on memory usage. There’s one way you can clearly see the difference between strict and lazy data, though: Only lazy strings can be infinite. We’re going to take a quick lesson to focus on that fact and do an exercise to give you a little direct experience with it.
